You can add a /.pxarexclude file inside the container to exclude stuff (which was very surprising for me): https://forum.proxmox.com/threads/unexpected-use-of-pxarexclude-broke-my-container-backup.86143/Is it possible to add this parameter in the container settings so that it removes the folder when the scheduled backup is performed?
The /.pxarexclude file really worked on the container! Thanks! You can add a /.pxarexclude file inside the container to exclude stuff (which was very surprising for me): https://forum.proxmox.com/threads/unexpected-use-of-pxarexclude-broke-my-container-backup.86143/
No and I hate that it works on a container. I'm happy that it works with the proxmox-backup-client when doing backup to PBS from the inside, but it really isn't what I want when doing a backup from Proxmox. The container should not be able to interfere with my "external" backup! But I'm glad that it does work for you.The /.pxarexclude file really worked on the container! Thanks!
Any ideas on how to do the same thing in a VM?
