Directory size

Hi all,

I created a directory for my backups.
Its size is 94 Gb (I did not decide about the size, and don't know how it's set).
Now I have some space limit problems with my scheduled backups, so I would like to increase the size of this directory. I have still a lot of free Gb on my 'local' disk (~600 free Gb).

My question is simple: Is it possible ? if yes how to do this ? if no, what do you advice ?

Thanks a lot !
Edouard

If you added a directory as a storage to Proxmox VE (e.g. through the web UI) then it has no size limit, you can effectively use all the space available on the disk (or partition) where the directory is located.

So if possible you can grow the partition where the directory is.

Whats the path of the directory storage?

If you use the local disk as backup you can also enable backups for the 'local' pve storage and back directly there up (and move it then to a save place).
