Directory Services (authentication) appliance

It would be great to have a Directory Server containing a replacement for Windows Domain Controller (SAMBA newer than 3.3.7 in order to support Windows 7 workstations), OpenLDAP, Kerberos (for single sign-on), perhaps freeRADIUS - something that all other VMs and client workstations, be they Linux, Mac or Windows based, could authenticate against.

Mandriva Enterprise Server has a directory service but MES5.1 doesn't seem to play well with Proxmox.

did you try with veth or venet? samba, dhcp and some other services cannot work with venet.

or install as KVM guest.
