[SOLVED] Did "new installation" upgrade, subscription key no longer works, "Invalid: Invalid Server ID"

I upgraded a proxmox 6 installation to proxmox 7 via the "new installation" method, i.e. I reloaded the machine from the proxmox 7 CD.

When I inserted the subscription key, it did not authorize the system, and the status reads "Invalid: Invalid Server ID". From this, I am guessing that it computed a new server identifier through the new install process, and that this doesn't match the original ID. The "upgrade proxmox 6 to 7" document doesn't actually mention the subscription keys, so I am a little unclear on how to get this system's subscription working again under v7.

Any thgoughts?

Take, Brian
