Demo System on an old Pc?

Hi
I have an "good old" Shuttle Pc with an i7 Gen 6 or so and 32GB Ram. Can I use them as an Demo Server to install it?
I also have some special HW I would like test before I install it on my "propper" Huawei Server to migrate everything quick.

The specs of that i7 & 32GB of ram should be ok as a general system to try things out on and learn with.

What's the special hardware though, just in case it could muck things up?
