After patching this morning eno3 and eno4 disappeared on one of my Dell R720. The card is based on the BCM57800 chipset and has two SFP+ and two gigabit ports on the same card and was working prior to this mornings update. Not really sure what to check. Commands like "ip link show" no longer show ports 3 and 4. "lspci" still shows four items. Kernel is 5.11.22-3-pve. dmesg only shows the first two interfaces. Not sure what else to check. I've got another set of Dell R720s with an Intel Quad 1/10 Gigabit card that works fine so it seems to be something with the Broadcom driver.

Manually selecting Kernel 5.11.22-2 on boot resolves the issue.

Could you share the complete contents/outputs of:
* dmesg
* lspci -nnk
* ip link

(maybe we see something in addition to your findings)

Also there were a few updates to the kernel recently - could you try installing the latest available kernel and try that as well?

I filed a bug report on it and it's something related with changes to the SRV-IO exception handling in the kernel module. See https://bugzilla.proxmox.com/show_bug.cgi?id=3558 for all of the logs and such.

I'm running the latest pve-kernel that I see 'pve-kernel-5.11.22-3-pve/stable,now 5.11.22-6 amd64 [installed,automatic]'
