Hello folks,

I was attempting to install Proxmox 7.2 on my Dell R710 and keep getting the error attached in the photo. I am on current Bios of 6.6.0, Idrac6 Enterprise, recent Firmware and Lifecycle firmware, Raid-0 1TB with PERC6I controller. I built the USB installer via Rufus and Ventoy and still same error. I tried front and back USB ports same error. I tried Bios and UEFI same error. I tried Ventoy Normal and Grub2 same error. I turned off Idrac system services and inventory and turned on IPMI over LAN. I tried two different USB drives one at 32GB and another at 64GB. I set power management in Bios from controller to Max performance and still get the same error. I deleted the old raid and setup a new Raid-0.

This server was running ESXI 6.5 just fine for a long time and I was convinced to give Proxmox a try. I found an old post saying to update BIOS and use UEFI. I watched a few Youtube videos and they didnt have any issues. I am about out of ideas. You guys have anything to try?

Hi, i'm having the same issue. please let me know if you were able to install it

my guess is that it doesnt like the raid controller, going to try install proxmox 6x and see what happens
