Since Proxmox VE uses an Ubuntu kernel with a few patches on top, Proxmox VE runs wherever Ubuntu can run. So you can also use the HCL from Ubuntu.

@MKochy you can also use the forum search, there are over 25 threads where an R430 is found as a term. You can therefore expect it to work - like pretty much all other servers.

No issues with Proxmox on Dell 13th-gen servers. Just need to configure the PERC to HBA mode for use with ZFS/Ceph. Delete any existing virtual disks before switching the PERC to HBA mode otherwise the PERC will NOT see the drives.

Needless to say, update all firmware before clean installing Proxmox via Dell DRM or updateyodell.net
