Hi everyone.
This is my first forum post, and I'd like to ask you for some setup advice,
namely whether Proxmox hypervisor will work properly on the below hardware configuration?

Dell PowerEdge R7515
- AMD EPYC 7302 16-Core (32 Threads) up to 3.3GHz, L3 Cache 128MB
- RAM 256GB (8x32GB) 3200MHz Multi-bit ECC
- Samsung 1x SSD PM1735 1.6TB HHHL NVMe PCIe 4.0 x8 DWPD-3
- BOSS-S1 2x 480GB M.2 SSD SATA 6 GBPSs M.2 MICRON MTFDDAV480TCB DWPD-1
- PERC H730P Mini (Embedded)
- Seagate ST8000NM0185 6x 8TB 7.2K NLSAS 3.5" 12Gbps Hard Drive
- Intel(R) Ethernet 25G 2 Ports XXV710 Adapter
- NetXtreme BCM5720 2 x Gigabit Ethernet
- 2x750w power supply.

I plan to run the following virtual machines:
- 3 VM with W2k19 on 100GB disk each,
- 1 VM with W2k19 on 100GB disk,
- 1 VM with W2k19 as a AD Domain Controller on a 100GB disk,
- 1 VM with W2k19 as a file server on a 100GB drive and connected second 6TB drive,
- 1 Ubuntu VM on 100GB disk.

I know that disks on these two controllers should work in HBA mode. They can of course be set that way. These controllers have this capability.
Samsung card are not manufactured by Dell but it works flawlessly and of course I know that I have to buy a second one to join them in RAID-1, if it's going to be a production server.
I would run all virtual machines on 2 Samsung disk in RAID-1 and from six Seagate 8TB drives I would create a RAIDZ-2 pool. I want to use synchronous transactions.
What are your recommendations for cache and slog?

Thank you in advance for your suggestions.
