I would like to know if someone have installed proxmox on a dell EMC isilon X210 and if the raid system is compatible with the OS.

PVE is using Debian userland with Ubuntu Kernel. If you can find reports of successful Debian or Ubuntu installations on these boxes, you should be in a good shape.
