Is there any chance to restore it ?

Some other question come into my mind, is there a way to get configuration of the currently running machine (not from conf file)

Hi,

If the VM you have deleted its config have a Backup, you can go to the backup in PVE Web UI and click on the `Show Configuration` then you will copy the config to `/etc/pve/nodes/hp1/qemu-server/<VMID>.conf`.

Yes, this works.
I get the qemu-server.conf from and re-create the file <VMID>.conf in mentioned folder. The VM reapear in webGUI.

But I don't have all machines in backups and my conclusion (from the other posts) is that I have to manually recreate the config files.
For now I dont know where to find following informations.
