I noticed that pbs doesn't report the data usage on the S3 datastore correctly. I noticed this because when I set it up, the used space size was in the correct ballpark as it should. But now I had cleaned the cache it now shows the size of the cache, more or less, which is way smaller than the actual storage on the S3 datastore. FYI, still no errors and everything is working fine, but S3 refresh, although it runs without any errors now, does not make a difference in reporting the actual size on the S3 datastore (i.e. remote).
Using the CS Browser for S3 I see that the total size is 394,26 GB, but pbs reports 94.76 GB and thus has a incorrect Estimated Full indication.
When looking at the cache (mounted under /mnt/datastore/cache) I see:
