Datastore no space Left

Hi Everyone i have the datastore on the PBS Full, i try to reduce the retention of backup from
Monthly: 6
Weekly:4
Daily: 7
To:
Weekly:4
Daily: 7
And click "Run Now"
But when i click to "Start Garbage Collection" is failed this is the screenshoot of the error:

I try to remove manually the vm snapshot for vm and i try to relaunc seems the progress goes more often but i have this error.

Without space you can't run GC and without running GC you can't free up (useful amounts of) space. Next time you better set up monitoring and set a quota, so this can't happen again.

Same probleme here but I have solved it quick and dirty.

cd /mnt/datastore/backupZFS/.chunks
mv ec28 /space/ ; ln -s /space/ec28 ec28

I haved moved and linked as much folders to get 2 gb free space again. GC run's now.

/space/ is also a ZFS system.

Does the GC preserve the symlinks after it's run once?

You have to remove the symlinks after by yourself. Also move the files back.

Hi i have fixed by keep only 1 point for each vm, and the gc goes fine
