I learned that lxc container isn't working for free cyberpanel installation
is there a link /howto advice for virtual machine setup (VM)?
couldn't find any

hi,

regular installation process should work fine https://cyberpanel.net/docs/installing-cyberpanel/

if in a VM just make sure you're using their supported OS (ubuntu 18 or ubuntu 20, or centos)
