[SOLVED] CT's not getting internet

CT's on fresh installation does not connect to the internet, anyone able to advise please ?

Hi,

You can check the network configuration on the PVE side. Do you give the LXC container a static IP or DHCP?

not really, is that something you might be able to help out with? I am a newbie admin, and trying to learn stuff

Hello,

You can try to start the LXC container with lxc-start -F -n <CTID> command, and see if you get any hint during the LXC start.

Did that and not helped out that much, got a local ip but no internet

Can you post the network configuration (cat /etc/network/interfaces) of the PVE and the container config (pct config <CTID>) as well

You are using wifi. With that guests won't be able to go online without using a NAT setup where your PVE is working as a router. See here: https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/WLAN
