I was wondering if there was a way to do some simple NASesque functions within ProxMox. It is very straightforward, for the most part. I can find all of the typical NAS setup items, and have setup a ZFS pool. I have also created a "directory". No problem. however, I cannot find the functions, if they exist, to create a simple SMB Windows share. Is this possible? It seems to have all of the other functionality of a NAS, but I simply cannot find how to publish a sharable location. Am I missing something obvious?

Before you ask, yes I did search for this. Sometimes you need to know what to search for before you search. Or, to know the particular language used. SMB Share is all I know. I didnt find anything useful searching for that!

Thank you.

For Samba you would need to install the according packages and configure it like for any other Debian server. Proxmox VE does not have any tooling for that though.
