Hello,

I have recently set up a new Proxmox Backup Server and successfully created a datastore. However, when attempting to add the Proxmox Backup Server to my Proxmox cluster, I am encountering the following error:



Here are the steps I have already completed:

• Created the Proxmox Backup Server and added a datastore without issues.
• Confirmed that the Proxmox Backup Server is running and accessible from the network.

Proxmox Backup Server 3.3.2
Proxmox Virtual Environment 8.3.2


Has anyone encountered this issue or have suggestions on what I might be missing? Any guidance would be appreciated!

Double check that your PVE hosts can reach your PBS server at 10.178.53.135 port 8007/tcp. That error simply means that your PVE can't reach that PBS IP : port. Check routes, firewall, etc.

Thanks, yes it was firewall issue .. Solved now !!!
