Create image file on host to use it on the guest

Hi,

i have a KVM with Windows 7. Inside the guest i want to use some files that are located in the host (/data) at the moment. Can i create a raw image or qcow image with this files and add this file as a drive in my KVM to access this files inside Windows???

do you just need to move these file to windows?

if yes, just install winscp.net on windows and copy the files.

if you want a file share, you need to configure samba.

No i wanted to make a raw or qcow image from this Directory. Isnt this possible?
