Hello,
till now I had a single PVE host with about 20 guest VMs.
Now I bought a second server and wanted to create a cluster.
So the situation is:
Node1: 20 Vm running
Node2: 0 Vm
Can I create the cluster from node1, add node2 without losing the functionality of the VMs running in node1?

Thanks

Yes,.. form Cluster on first node, where your VMs run... add the node without VMs to the cluster....

Yes, you can create the cluster in node1, then add node2.

What you can't do is create the cluster in node2 and then add node1 to that cluster: when joining a cluster, the node must not have any configuration.

Before you create your cluster, be aware about 2 node clusters in PVE, there are lot's of threads about it and why you don't have quorum with one node and what that means. Also read about QDevice [1] and how it can help with this.
