Using PVE 8.2.2 trying to create backup job for a remote PBS 3.2-3 that was successfully added.

Getting this error message on submit, I am not sure how to troubleshoot as my other PVE 8.2.2 node works fine without this error with the same PBS when making a backup job.

Bash:
Parameter verification failed. (400)
fleecing: property is not defined in schema and the schema does not allow additional properties

Any input or direction is appreciated.

Fleecing is disabled and I get this error. Its almost as if it doesn't recognize the variable itself. Is it something to do with my repositories?

please share the output of pveversion -v. Maybe a reload with systemctl reload-or-restart pvescheduler.service pvedaemon.service pveproxy.service pvestatd.service helps.

Fleecing is NOT possible with all types of local storage; all I know is this: https://pve.proxmox.com/pve-docs/pve-admin-guide.html#_vm_backup_fleecing
It is possible with all storage types, some are just less suitable, e.g. require reserving a volume of the full size or don't support discard.

Uh oh, this doesn't look good. How to troubleshoot?

Screenshot of my apt repositories, for some reason this node looks different than my other one.

I'm getting the same error when manually starting a backup job to tuxis.nl:
Code:
Some errors have been encountered:
pve1: Parameter verification failed. (400)

fleecing: property is not defined in schema and the schema does not allow additional properties
pve2: Parameter verification failed. (400)

fleecing: property is not defined in schema and the schema does not allow additional properties

Fleecing is unchecked in the settings and pve1 and pve2 are names of nodes in my cluster (I'm running the job from pve0).

I just set up Tuxis PBS, so not sure if it's related to Tuxis or not, but I'm not getting this error when starting a backup job to my own PBS in my LAN.

Make sure to upgrade pve1 and pve2 to recent enough versions.

Hi,

Make sure to upgrade pve1 and pve2 to recent enough versions.
Thanks, will try that at some point and report on that. It's a bigger effort as pve1 is still 7.4-17 :( pve0 is 8.2-4 and pve2 is 8.1.3.

I had this issue when I wasn't connected to the same node as the VM. I logged into the correct node and no backup issue. Keep in mind nodes were are two different version 7.0 & 8.0
