Create a cluster on a node which has VMs

Hi guys,

I understand and always join an empty node to the cluster.

But now I want to create cluster from one server which already contains VMs and is in production.
Can the first node, the one you create cluster on, also contain VMs?

If not, then I have to install new node, create a cluster, offline move VMs to it and add old node to the cluster, when it is empty.

yes it can. the reason for the general requirement of adding nodes into a cluster is to avoid having conflicts on the VMIDs (that is not an issue if you're creating the cluster for the first time)
