I have a simple Windows workstation as a test environment for Proxmox. I am running Proxmox version 3.3. It is an HP/Compaq Pro 6200. 8GB ram, 500gb hdd, i5 2400 Pretty run of the mill hardware.
Since I have installed the Proxmox software, it freezes up about once a week. It does not respond to SSH and shows nothing on the monitor I have it hooked up to. This is only remedied by restarting the system.
I would really like to use this software in a production environment, but I cannot as these random crashes are off putting.

I have sifted through the logs but cannot find anything that would point towards an issue.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Hi,
have you look for an bios-update? I had an supermicro server, which die after 1-4 weeks. After an bios-upgrade the server runs without issue!

Do you have installed updates (you must enable the pve-no-subscription repro) or is the software the plain iso installed version?

Which kernel do you have running?
