corrupted /usr/share directory -- can't access GUI

Hello All,

I have been tinkering with different themes for proxmox, which replaced files in /usr/share/javascripts/extfs and /usr/share/pve-manager/css

It turns out now my GUI is completely pooched. When I load proxmox I can't see anything. The service is running but i think the .css files or .tpl files are corrupted.

Is there any way to re-install the .css files to their original state or can I download them somehow so that I can get back in? I think I tried apt-get remove and install of both pve-manager and proxmox-ve but that did not reset them.

you can try to reinstall the packages:

apt install --reinstall libjs-extjs pve-manager
