Hello,

We are going to set up a cluster of 6 hosts and we have in each of them a bond with two gigabit interfaces. We were planning to use another nic, for the corosync network, but we have had an error when ordering the nics and they don't work (low profile instead of high profile).

Is it viable to use a vlan inside the bond, to separate the corosync network?

Thanks

Corosync requires low latency. That is why we recommend separating it from all other traffic.
If you can assure that, you should be fine.
If you plan on using HA you should separate it physically from other traffic though, perhaps with a second link on your bond as fallback.
