Copy PBS Datastore to another server and then start sync

Hi,

I have a PBS in Datacenter A - now I want to sync it to Datacenter B

Can I copy the datastore in datacenter A to an external harddisk and then copy it on a PBS in Datacenter B?

And then simply start a sync?

Don't want to transfer 20 TB over internet ;-)

yes you can, ideally you temporarily define a datastore on the external disk and use a local sync. then you can use the new "reuse existing datastore" feature on the other end to import it and do another local sync to the final datastore
