All:

I have 2 HP proliant servers setup in a cluster with a backend Synology storage unit. The servers only have HD's to run the Proxmox software while all of the hosts are iSCSI to the Synology storage unit. Their is a 20G connection between the Synology unit and the switch and a 10G connection to each of the servers.

I have been playing around with various guests but have recently noticed that both of my servers are reporting HD errors like crazy and I am having problems within each of my guest platforms.

Here is just a sample of what I am seeing on the console screens. As I am just learning more about Linux this is a little Greek to me.

I am also seeing the following in the Messages and Syslog log files...

I tried to stand up a pfSense guest box but the performance was so bad I had to go back to my external firewall. I am guessing that I have something misconfigured on my iSCSI settings or something causing these issues.

Please help, anyone.

thanks

UPDATE: No I cannot even get into my PVE02 server. Nothing is responding. NO GUI. No SSH. Nothing. I will be rebooting the entire box and see what happens.

This is what I see when trying to reboot.

UPDATE 2: After the reboot I am not immediately seeing the errors but I am unable to do anything from the Proxmox GUI. All of the guests show as running but I cannot get into the console. The shell command is grayed out for this host.

Hi!

I'm afraid I didn't completely understand your setup. If you still have the problem, could you please post the following from a Proxmox VE node?
Code:
pveversion -v
pvecm status
fdisk -l
cat /etc/pve/storage.cfg
pvesm status
