First post for me on this forum. First i would like to say that proxmox is really amazing! I have been working with it for 6 months now, and its a great product!
Today i encountered a problem, which i cant resolve by myself, and im hoping you guys can help me. I must say, im absolutely no expert on linux, and all i've done in the past was with youtube help and this forum.
So i have home assistant as a vm and a few containers running with stuff like Zigbee2mqtt, frigate, pihole, etc. Earlier today home assistant started to send me messages that my zigbee network was down, so i checked the proxmox UI. Everything looked normal, zigbee container up and running, but when i tried to reach the zigbee user interface, i could not reach it. The IP address was unreachable. First thing i tried was to restart the container, but after that, the container would not start anymore, and was giving me this message:
I've googled a lot, and tried some stuff, but i could not get the container to start again.
Then i made a clone of the container and tried to start the clone, and that worked right away!
So right now, my zigbee is up and running again, inside the clone container.
So my question is, how can i find out what went wrong with the original container? Is there a way to solve the issue, and get the original container up and running instead of the clone?
I'm pretty sure you guys will ask for logfiles etc, but like i said, im not that familiar with linux stuff. So if you need logs, can you please tell me where to get them?
Since the clone worked without problems, i would think that the container itself is fine, and there is something wrong in the proxmox overlay perhaps?
Anyway, no rush since clone is running fine for now, but i would like to get it back to how it was, and learn linux better on the way
