Constant write to HDD

hello, I am new to proxmox and VE in general so I don't know if this is fixable but I set up proxmox through a youtube guide https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qmSizZUbCOA
The only thing I did differently was mounting my Synology NAS HDD trough NFS. So no zfs pools were used.

The thing is proxmox is constantly writing to the HDD even if I don't do anything with it and prevents it going to sleep and is pretty loud in general.
Here is a image from the Synology NAS DISK usage and this is constant.
Any help would be appreciated.

thanks for the reply
pvestatd wake says unknown command, or is this not run in the shell?

I ran the iotop-c and iostat -xyzts --compact --human 1 command and got this. 2025-10-03_11-56.png2025-10-03_12-11.png

Sorry for the confusion, pvestatd wake was meant as a term to search with to see how others resolved this.
iostat seems to only show real devices and for iotop-c I only see a background task for the file system creation. Likely unrelated.
I'm not sure if fatrace can trace network writes too.
