[SOLVED] Console connection timed out

Hi all

I've just installed a new Proxmox installation following the guide and added my first VM on the box. When I start the new host I can see it starting on the summary page and the start task in the log at the bottom of the web interface shows it started.

When I click on the console page to see my install options of the guest OS, noVNC shows "Failed to connect to server" and the task shows "Error: Connection timed out". I've updated the installation through SSH as the GUI didn't seem to want to work.

I'm on 6.2-4, I've tried the GUI in Vivaldi & Chrome.

Any pointers would be appreciated.

did you solve it? (since it says 'SOLVED' in the tile)
if yes, what was the problem? maybe someone else can profit from your solution
