Hi to all. I need guidance/advice.

I have a single Proxmox 3.2 server running 2 openvz and 3 KMV.
I'm planning to do a clean install of version 4.2

All I have to do is convert openvz to lxc and backup to external drive, right?
Then, restoring those backups should run without issues.
(saving conf files, custom scripts, crons, etc)

Any other consideration?
Thanks in advance

If you have some RAM and disks space available, please install Proxmox VE 4.2 inside your running Proxmox VE, then backup all openVZ and try to import, then you've tested that everything works as expected. (Of course you can also try to install Proxmox VE 4.2 on another computer or inside VirtualBox on your computer/laptop/mac/whatever)
