"Connection error - server offline?" in Web GUI

Fresh install of PVE according to https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Install_Proxmox_VE_on_Debian_11_Bullseye

Web GUI accepts password, but "Summary" for the node cannot be displayed.
But, in "Datacenter", node is reporting its Disk usage etc.





I am very confused that simple instructions are leading to non-working system.

Can anyone help with that? Thanks!

is you nodename/ip correct in /etc/hosts /etc/hostname ?
do you have any browser extensions installed that might interfere?

ip/hosts/hostname - all according to manual.

If I install PVE from iso on same PC everything works fine, so its not browser problem.

can you show the content of /etc/hostname /etc/hosts and /etc/network/interfaces ?
