Connecting USB devices to VM

Hi!

I have just installed a fresh versions of Proxmox 4.1 and created a VM running Windows XP. I'm planning on connecting a USB ISDN modem to the VM. Can this be done.

I came across a tutorial (http://www.jamescoyle.net/how-to/1605-openvz-usb-passthrough-in-proxmox) and tried to connect a simple USB key to test the thing. I get stopped at this step:

# vzctl set[VMID]--devnode[BUS_PATH]:rw--save

vzctl: command not found

Any ideas or tutorials on how to connect an USB device to your Virtual Machine?

Hi,

the tutorial you used is for Containers not Virtual machines and also for the outdated OpenVZ container Technology, now we use LXC.
