[SOLVED] Connecting an iPad to a VM

Hey guys,

I am trying to connect an iPad to a Proxmox VM. I have forwarded the USB ports and on the Host OS it does see the iPad however the client VM does not. Has anyone had any success with this?

Try in passthroughing the device by USB ID, then stop (important) and start the VM again.

Unfortunately this was the first option that I tried and still the iPad doesn't get detected on the client VM.

Yes. The first time I did. But it looks like it is actually working now. Not sure what the difference was.

I am wondering if its because I have the iPad in recovery mode now.
