connect to proxmox vm by vnc using username and password

to enhance security can I connect to vm proxmox by VNC using user and password , not password only ?

If VNC is not asking for a username i would assume, that the server you are trying to connect to does not have a user configured to connect to. Can you check if there is a user configured ?
