Hello,

lets say you have an OVS bridge on node1 with multiple VMs connected to it (multiple VLANs).

Now you want to add another node (node2) whose VMs should also have access to the OVS network on node1 (and vice versa).

Is this possible? If yes, how?

Would it be sufficient if I add a physical interface (e.g. eno1) as OVS bridge port on both nodes?

Thanks in advance.

yes, it's possible of course.

you need a switch which is able to transport the vlan tag.
(Generally, the switch port are configured like "trunk" on cisco-like swich for example, and allowed vlans are defined in the switch too)
