[SOLVED] Confused about backups

Hi,

I'm backing up two proxmox servers to one proxmox backup server.
I just noticed VMs with same IDs are grouped together in backup server.

For example (check screenshot) id 103 exists in both proxmox servers, but they are different VMs ofcourse.

Is this proper?
Do I have to make a different datastore for EACH proxmox server on backup server?

Hey,

you probably want separate namespaces[1], so you keep the deduplication between the two nodes, but avoid clashing VMIDs.
