Configure the max size of an email

Hi,

I cannot find the answer. But is there a way to configure the maximum size of an email ?
So that is will not scan a to big email and not forward it to the mailserver.

Hi,

you can define the maximum message size under Configuration -> Mail Proxy -> Options -> Message Size (bytes).
From the help page:

Maximum email size. Larger mails are rejected.

I've been trolling the logs, would I find a record of a rejection based on size in /var/log/mail.log?

Got it, /var/log/mail.log has lines like this:

552 5.3.4 Message size exceeds fixed limit
