configure bios to boot my disk

I was able to import a vmdk disk into proxmox and creating a vm. My problem now, it do not boot.
It took me a lot of time to find out, that the problem is that the bios not boot my disk automatically. I have to press ESC and manually select the disk.
How could I modify the bios so my disk auto boot?

@LnxBil Tahnks a lot! Sems I was in a tunnel and did not found the way.

@ proxmox: Please add in the Hardware configuration on the disk edit window a link to the bootorder settings.
