Comparative Tool for Proxmox ?

Hello,

I'm working on a study to compare vSphere and Proxmox and I need to produce a report giving all the features similar to vSphere 8.0 as well as the maximum configurations available on clusters, hosts and vm. I was wondering if such a tool existed for Proxmox? I found this data: ‘max. RAM and CPU per host: 128 TiB [64 PiB] RAM, 8192 logical CPUs, 8 sockets’ on the official website but nothing more...

not really, but there is https://pve.proxmox.com/pve-docs/api-viewer/index.html#/nodes/{node}/qemu

(make sure you click on 'POST' at the top to get to right api call)

with the api schema there should be most of the information (e.g. number of disks, memory etc.)
if there is no limit in our api, the limiting factor is most often the kernel (e.g. memory) or qemu (eg. cpus, disk sizes, etc.)
