communication failure (0) in "Cluster" view when one node is down

Hi,

I've set up a three node cluster on three different sites connected via site to site VPN and one of the sites is currently completely down. Since then, I wasn't able to view the Cluster status, all it says is "Loading..." and then "communication failure (0)" after like 30 seconds.

Is this expected behaviour, are the remaining nodes still syncing? The master is still online and connected to the remaining slave node.

This setup is not recommended and also not supported by Proxmox.
Corosync the Custer communication of Proxmox VE is made for local networks that have low latency.
If the latency is too high you will lose the capability to manage the cluster.

Is this also applicable to Proxmox Mail Gateway, which is what I'm using?
You were referring to Proxmox VE...

What's the output of pmgcm status on the nodes that are online?

sorry for not coming back to you earlier. i just wanted to reproduce the issue but unfortunately it didn't reoccur when I shut down one of the nodes. Not even if I just disconnect the network adapter of one of the gateways (to simulate an unexpected connection loss)...

I'll report back with the output of pmgcm status if the issue reappears.
