Hello,

is there any timelimit how long a cluster-node can be offline so that it's still in the cluster...
(A windows domain controller is useless after 60 days...)

So what happens if a cluster-node is offline for e.g 180 days and then its started again. Does everything work?

Corosync will update all changes I think / hope?

Can anyone confirm this?

Thanks, Stefan

Can anyone confirm this?
Well..., I did not test this, so: no (from my personal position).

But I want to mention that you want to have all Nodes up and running when you are going to add (or remove) a Node from the cluster. If one Node is turned off during such modifications it will refrain from accepting the new situation when turned on later. Been there, done that...

Best regards

Yes, this is important and I can confirm this!

My best guess would be that it works without major upgrades between. But if not, what is your plan b? :)

I also shut down nodes from time to time, but for updates/upgrades I do it on all nodes booted just up to be safe.
