Hi,

I have three seperate nodes that I would like to glue in a cluster.
At the moment all the machines run on the node with 7.1.7 (deprecated).
Question: can I build a cluster with the three versions in the subject, migrate all the machines to the new nodes and then build it again from scratch, using 7.4.3, and join it back to the cluster?

I read in the doc that all the nodes must run the same version, and in my situation that's not the case.

@spirit , thank you.
Indeed upgrading might be an option. Maybe my approach comes from Windows world where it's better to start from scratch than upgrade. Keeping into account that starting from scratch would mean going through the video-resolution issue to accept EULA, I second your suggestion. I know ProxMox can be installed atop the debian installation, but the time required by the ProxMox ISO is faster imo, it requires less steps; many thanks for this, guys!
