Hello all. Newbie to PVE here, so far I am impressed! We have researched many different virtualization systems and this one blows them all away, so thanks for that!!!
On to my questions ...
1) We purchased a APC PDU and it should be here in a few days. I am getting up to speed with the clustering and I have a 3 node cluster already setup. Obviously fencing won't work yet ... but when it does, how do I define which hosts get the guests? Is that what nodeid and votes are for? Can you explain the voting system?
2) Does PVE offer any kind of fallback, or preferred host server? If so, how do I define? Reason being I would like to be able to control which hosts can run certain guests, obviously for performance I don't want my most powerful servers (2 in the cluster) to be running or even bothered by the internal web server (intranet or PBX).
3) Does the PVE contain drivers for newer Intel 10GB NIC cards? Before I buy a 10GB iSCSI backend, would be nice to know if it will work!
Thanks everyone for a great product!
