I'm totally new to Proxmox (installed for first time 3 days ago) I'm trying to create a cluster as follows

I have two modes each with 3 network ports 2 x 10Gb (802.3ad bonded on vmbr0 as primary interface on 192.168.8.0/24) 1 x 2.5Gb on VLAN2 (intended as dedicated cluster communication port) on 192.168.9.0/24 in creating the cluster I did not add any fallback links

I've verified communication between nodes on the dedicated VLAN2 and all is working at the network level.

Created a cluster using the dedicated port as link 0 - this step appears ok it shows the expected dedicated IP on the node that created the cluster.

Get join information to add second node, it returns the primary interface address as part of the join information and there no way to override it to use the VLAN2 address

Am I doing something wrong or is using a dedicated VLAN not possible? pointers to documentation or suggestions welcome, this is a home lab install.

Thanks, Ray
