cluster join error

hello
i have 2 nodes with VMs on theme

i wished to crate a Cluster

but after trying to join theme

detected the following error(s):
* this host already contains virtual guests
TASK ERROR: Check if node may join a cluster failed!

all the VM's have different IDs

so what could be the problem?

in short: Joining nodes need to be empty. The best approach is to create a backup and import it either on the existing node right away or import it after the node joined the cluster.

@aaron thanks for your feedback, i found the documentation, but i think i wished to miss the part of the empty Node. which is useless i think, just no dobbel vm id would be ok.

So i will have to attache the same share on both Proxmox node's
