Good afternoon
I'll explain my problem to see if I can solve it.
I have a Proxmox with 3 nodes. In this one I have created a Windows domain and then with 2 nodes I have created a failover cluster with a file server role.
In this file server I have created and shared some directories where I keep the backup of some Proxmox machines.
Here comes the problem in Proxmox I link the directories through SMB/CIFS but when I change from one node to another of the failover the SMB/CIFS directories of Proxmox are disconnected until I return to the original node, sometimes until I restart the 2 nodes of the failover cluster the SMB/CIFS directories in Proxmox do not connect.
Any solution?
Greetings and thank you very much in advance.

You need a service name with ip instead of a hostname, define it in advanced computer account as second name for both hosts and lay ip on top of both host interfaces as further ip or use clustered samba with the service name. But be aware the more ha you do the more complex, unreliable due to more hw/sw components and unsupportable you go with your solution.
