cloud orchestration for proxmox?

Hi, new guy to proxmox. I am wondering is there an cloud frontend for proxmox like vOneCloud? I am now wondering what to choose between OpenNebula KVM solution and Proxmox.

My understanding is I need to have a physical server to install base KVM system like proxmox or OpenNebula embedded Linux distro like ubuntu or CentOS. And I need to have a orchestration tool and authentication server for user to create there own VMs.

I know there is some APIs with proxmox, but developing a new cloud manage platform will take quite a while. So I am wondering is there any existing solution for this.

The reason I prefer Proxmox is that it is built to do hypervision stuff. It seems less pain I guess?

could be great to develop a plugin for opennebula, but it's coded in ruby, and I really don't like ruby ^_^

I don't really understand maas's architecture. It can use proxmox server as a compute node can take over the process to create a VMs?

Yeah my initial thought was develop a web UI for user to register there own VMs with Proxmox API, but I just don't believe no one has done beforep or just everyone dive into Openstack.
