Hi,

Proxmox VE has start-stop hooks[1] where you can script whatever you like.
In combination with the qemu-guest-agent exact command, you can do what you like.

Not at all.

Another alternative would be to create your could-init image by yourself.
Then you can use all cloud-init functions.

Proxmox VE does only support the option for Cloud-init what is exposed in the GUI.
You can create your own images but this is out of scope what we support.

Here is the docu [1] of Cloud-init and I'm sure there are many how To's where this is described in detail.
