Hello
I have such a question, does proxmox have user-scripts support?
for example, like openstack, which can feed a bash file and it will prepare it for cloud-init

the task is this, there is an image of the system, and at certain points you need to raise the VM with some software based on a clean image

It good, but how to use without qemu-guest-agent ?
Not at all.

Another alternative would be to create your could-init image by yourself.
Then you can use all cloud-init functions.

Proxmox VE does only support the option for Cloud-init what is exposed in the GUI.
You can create your own images but this is out of scope what we support.

Here is the docu [1] of Cloud-init and I'm sure there are many how To's where this is described in detail.
