Problem:
When I clone a template to a new vm the cloudinit-drive is linked to the template and not to the actual vm. This causes cloudinit to fail.
This started to happen after the upgrade to 6.0. Before it worked just fine.
Setup:
3 Nodes clustered with Ceph as storage
pve-manager/6.0-12/0a603350 (running kernel: 5.0.21-4-pve)
Reproduce:
Create template with some storage and a cloud-init drive.
Clone.
New VM has cloudinit-drive linked to the template instead of its own.
