Clone disk and extend local-lvm

Hi there,

I'd like to clone the existing (and only disk) to a bigger disk. And then resize the local-lvm (data?) so I can fit more vms!

My plan was to boot clonezilla and do a local disk clone to local disk and the resize with gparted maybe? Is this doable?

Good! So bigger disk and then extend /dev/sda3 I guess but then I'm not sure how to extend local-lvm? Or will that solve it self by extending sda3?

The program you use to duplicate your data may have functionality to extend the LV. If not, then you can follow one of the articles that come up in this google search "extend lvm partition ubuntu"
